Jan. 19, 2011- Wait a minute! It seems like just yesterday Max was my cute little guy who refused to go down slides at the park, and loved to throw balls in the laundry baskets. Who took three hour naps and still went to be at 7:30. Who learned early to say dad and then refused to say mom. Sigh! Now he is eight years old. He is smart and creative and the big boss around the house! For his birthday cake he wanted The Last Airbender. We did cake and ice cream with all the family on Monday the 17th. He also wanted to have a party with a few friends. I decided to make it easy and took them to McDonalds on his birthday to play on the playland and we had Happy Meals, opened presents, and ate cake. In the picture with his friends are L to R: Colton Meldrum, Cooper Hutchinson, Max, Luc Sorensen, and Calvin Christofferson. Of course, Joey and I, Carly, Gus, and Leo were also there. The bottom pic is of the paper that Cooper wrapped his gift in. He wrote Max a little poem that says: "Batman's in the kitchen, Robin's in the hall, Joker's in the bathroom peeing on the wall." That's awesome dude! Not a bad way to spend your birthday.
