May 26, 2012- For the Wilson Family Campout this year we went to Green River. We have made this trip before and were excited to do it again. On Friday when we arrived our first adventure was to float the river. We had a bunch of kids that wanted to go so we blew up five tubes and Grandpa's large tube he pulls behind the boat, and went for a float. It was Ben Horsley, Steph, grandpa, and I with Janae, Drew, Zach, Max, Carly, Gus, Noah, Seth, and Wilson. The water was deeper and a bit faster than the last time we floated so there was more paddling and pulling the tubes toward the direction that we wanted them to go. Last time we could touch the bottom almost the whole time so we did a lot more walking and pushing along to keep things moving. We traveled faster and despite the wind, I think everyone had a good time. We made it out without incident and once on land Seth was finally able to pee! Unfortunatly I didn't get any pictures of the river. I'll add them if I can get them from grandma!

These pics are of Saturday. We got up, had breakfast and headed out to Dead Horse Point. Some of the fellas went golfing early so we had planned to just meet everyone else in Arches later on. Janae wanted to go so we took her and went to Dead Horse Point. It was still VERY windy and we got blasted with sand most of the time we were there. It didn't last long but the view was cool! Once we got tired of the wind we went inside the museum/gift shop to look around.
