Taylorsville Dayzz carnival

Every year at this time Taylorsville Dayzz comes to town! I love, love, love Taylorsville Dayzz! We learned that on Thursday night, opening night, the carnival rides are $1 a ride(instead of like $4--ouch!) So, we took the kids and got $20 worth of tickets and let them ride some rides. I got to ride on the Ferris Wheel with Gus and Leo. Max and Carly were in the car in front of us. It was very hot, again you can tell from the red faces, but everyone had fun! We also went to the Beatles Tribute concert in the park on Saturday night, I ran in the 5k Saturday morning, and we went and watched the parade. We also saw the fireworks after the concert that never disappoint! The concerts are fun because they put up an outdoor stage and you pick a spot on the huge grass field behind the baseball complex, pull up your chair/blanket and cooler and just hang out and listen to the music. The kids like it too because we always sit back a little ways so we have a little room. They can dance and play around without care. It's just good fun!
