Fall Soccer

Max decided to play fall soccer with his friend Luc. And Angela, Luc's mom, decided to be the coach so it worked out well for me too. He did really well considering it was his first time trying soccer. He even seemed to like it and I think he might play again in the spring. GO WIPEOUT!

Utah State Fair Sept. 17, 2010

Max and Carly got free tickets to the State Fair for completing a summer reading challenge. SO we all went to the fair on Sept. 17. Here are some pics of the kids playing at "Kids on the Farm" exibit, which I think is the best part if you don't get to see the rodeo, which we didn't. Then there's a few pics with the cool turkey and some baby chicks Carly loved. And Joey at the Sea Lion show.

Grandpa's 89th Birthday Party

For grandpa Allred's 89th birthday we had a family reunion in Pocatello to celebrate. On Sept. 11, 2o1o, their four kids, Paula,Sheila, Kevin, and Ramona and all their families gathered to celebrate. We had a pot luck type lunch then played some games. We all played in a Jug Band in honor of grandpa's favorite past time. Grandpa made rubber band guns for all the great-grandsons and grandma made a new quilt for all the grand kids and hand stitched pillow cases for all the great-granddaughters. Plus an afghan for all four kids. That's a lot of work. We also chatted and played some volleyball too. The kids played in the water fountain and found a club house in a tree. It was a good time had by all.
